Sorry about the delay.

Kevin vs Josh
After winning a championship there is always an expectation to start the season hot... Kevin did that with some to spare, 50pts in fact. There are a lot of reasons why losing by 50pts should be a concern for Josh but he doesn’t seem to be worried. This either makes him stupid or he knows something we don’t... I’m moving towards the former.

Matt vs Russ
So i don’t really ever think there was any doubt. Matt’s team fell right in his lap at the draft. For the first like 6 rounds he let the league draft for him and it’s really paid off. He was the league leader in pts scored making Russbin look foolish even with a respectable scoreline. (Omitted joke because Russbin is sensitive)

 

Jake vs Cubby
Cubby won this week with a little help from his WR friends... his RBs and TE looked less than average... and that magical 2nd round pick is already hurt...
Jake missed so badly on defense that is was the equivalent of shooting a gun at a target and ricocheting back into your knee. Jake better luck next time bud. ;)

Smith vs TylerMiles
Two strong playoff contenders with strong teams for different reasons. “Tyiles” did a great job focusing on best RB available and settling for average WR, while smith focused on upside potential. Tyiles might’ve won but isn’t leaving the week unscathed. Both teams look good.

Drew vs Naughton
I have the unfortunate situation of having a bogey team in Naughton he is now 6-0 over me and he is TERRIBLE. I feel only shame. The fantasy gods are cruel to me but take pity on Naughton like giving mostert TDs that should never happen... i will give Naughton one thing... he’s committed to the misfits and they do him justice.

 

My comparisons are fantasy “tropes”

Matt: It’s A Kicker Year.
This guy kept a kicker because reason i guess? Idk, nobody knows what Matt’s thinking but himself.

Tyiles: Running a backfield by committee
Tyler is the goal line back who comes in just to put a cap on all of Miles’ work. Honestly i might start calling Tyler the vulture.

Russbin: Sacko
A Sacko is a Sacko.

Cubby: DEEP DEEP SLEEPERS
Cubby is so in on sleepers that he drafts them 2 seasons too early

Smith: If you love a player who’s geriatric set them free
Dude AP really hasn’t been relevant since our Shiva bowl... it might be time to open up that roster spot.

 

Jake: Always a bridesmaid never the champ
Statistically speaking Jake still is the best fantasy player in our league but recently that’s hard to believe. Idk if he’ll ever marry the Shiva.

Drew: The (trade) rape victim
Ever since the incident i haven’t been able to trust anyone with a big commitment trade. People just tell me to say no but it isn’t that simple...

Josh: This is our year
Just like a delusional bears fan who says this is our year after 1 garbage time victory against the lions, after the draft you go out with full confidence saying i think it gonna win the Shiva this year... I’m not speculating I’m just informing the league.
 
Kevin: Pete no known last name.
You might be the most winning-ist player in this league but you’re definitely a shady character and a trade rapist

Naughton: Beginners luck
Idk how this keeps happening but your luck just hasn’t seem to run out since you joined the league like 4 years ago.
